Welcome to Volt/and/Fable where we explore the possibilities of technology and science through the medium of speculative fiction.
As someone who follows the advances of technology, I see a lot of hype and promotional writing that can be difficult to sift through to find the actual hard facts about the technology being developed, yet its those hard facts that are the information we actually need to explore the realms of possibilities and the potential pitfalls of the technology.
Here on Volt/and/Fable I use the information I've gathered about real-world cutting edge technology to write speculative fiction about what the different discoveries and technologies could mean in the real world. This means we are often exploring the grey areas of morality through complex characters navigating imaginative worlds.
I also offer Volt Junior; creative technology stories for kids where I am currently working on a trilogy for precocious 8 year old boys (and boys at heart) about Beeper and Zap. (To be uploaded soon)
